If you are a driver participating in campaigns, location and mileage information may be central to how the Services operate, including campaign qualification, verification, and compensation calculations.

D. Inferences

We may draw inferences from the information we collect to create profiles about preferences, interests, campaign suitability, fraud risk, engagement, or likely business needs.

4. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, web beacons, session replay tools, analytics tools, and similar technologies (“Tracking Technologies”) on our website, app, emails, and digital properties.

4.1 Types of Tracking Technologies We Use

A. Strictly Necessary Technologies

These technologies are required for core site and app functionality, such as security, login authentication, session management, network management, fraud prevention, and load balancing.

B. Functional Technologies

These technologies help remember your settings and improve user experience, such as language preferences or saved form inputs.

C. Analytics Technologies

These technologies help us understand how users interact with the Services, such as which pages are visited, which features are used, and how users navigate our site and app. We may use third-party analytics providers.

These technologies may be used to:

– measure ad performance;

– attribute conversions;

– deliver more relevant ads;

– support retargeting or cross-context behavioral advertising; and

– understand audience engagement across websites, apps, and devices.

Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, use of some advertising cookies and similar technologies may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for “targeted advertising.”

– Mobile app environments may not use browser cookies but may use SDKs and similar tools.

– We honor GPC signals to the extent required by applicable law for opt-outs of sale/sharing/targeted advertising.

4.3 Do Not Track

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is not yet a universally accepted standard for DNT, we do not respond to legacy DNT signals. However, we process recognized universal opt-out signals, such as GPC, where required by applicable law.

These documents are stored on encrypted servers and access is restricted based on business need.

6.1 Not a Biometric Privacy Notice

At this time, we do not intentionally collect, capture, purchase, receive through trade, or otherwise obtain biometric identifiers or biometric information as those terms are defined under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”), in the ordinary course of operating the Services.

A photograph or scan of a driver’s license, by itself, is generally not treated as biometric information under BIPA unless used to extract biometric identifiers such as a face geometry template. If in the future we implement facial comparison, liveness detection, or similar identity verification tools that involve biometric processing, we will provide any legally required disclosures, consents, and retention terms before doing so.
